It's a case of double standard in my family. My brothers can do anything they want, just because they are guys. While the girls, can't. Well, my sister can, because she just go out and do it, rebelling.
For example, it happened just 10 minutes ago. I told my parents I'm going out to 'beraya' at my friend's house. If it was ZZ or Noer telling my parents that, my parents would just let them go, no questions asked. Since it was me, my dad decided to stop me, while I was driving out of the house's compound, and ask, who, where, when. Worse part, he even look reluctant to let me go. Luckily I was already half way out of the house. If I was still in the house, I'll bet he won't even let me go.
Which is exactly why I like to go out of the house when they are not around. And only tell them when I'm already arrived at my destination. This is the only way I can get out of the house. The house it like my own personal cage. Every time I'm in the house, I felt like a bird, trapped in a golden cage. It's pretty and cozy, yet I yearn to go out.
For now, I have to enjoy my limited freedom.
