Valentine's Day is just around the corner. In fact, it's tomorrow! The memorable 14 February. Who am I celebrating this special day with? My mom. I've been forever unattached to anyone but my family. Why? Because I couldn't be bothered to deal with male egos, I've my own ego to handle. Plus, it's easier for me. At least I can focus on my studies, and my parents are happy about it. (Especially mum, no boyfriend = more time with her)
Anyway, I was thinking of staying over in campus this weekend too. After all, I'm supposed to attend a talk tonight and a module on Sunday. Not forgetting the CSC 134's test on Monday! My parents' house is less than 30 minutes drive, but I rather not go back just for the day. But on the last minute, I remembered something. My dad is never good with dates, especially important dates like this. So, I think -I know!- that my dad would forget about Valentine's Day, and left the house early in the morning for his weekly golf. Mum would be alone on Valentine's Day. Well, my parents haven't celebrated Valentine's for years. But, still. Its not nice to leave her all alone if you are able to be there for her. Plus, my food stock is running low. So, my Valentine's Day activity will be shopping in Giant with my mom. How romantic.
I told mom I'll be back to her house tonight at 8pm, but I have to go back to campus on Sunday before 8am. She immediately called me after receiving the message, and sounding very excited and content. She didn't even mind that I'll be back late tonight. I think if I didn't mention that I'm following my friend's car, she might even drive herself to campus to pick me up! If you knew my mom, you would know she wouldn't do that. She's a boss. She's the boss. You have to do everything she wants, but she won't do anything you want. Unless you've proven your worth. Yes, it's true. If I want to go anywhere, I've to find my own means of transportation. Luckily now I have a driving license. And there's an extra car in the garage.
So, now, I'm typing from my dorm room. Waiting for Nana to come by and pick me up. We're in reverse now. It used to be me picking her up if we have plans. Now its the other way around. I don't know what she has planned for our day, but I know that we'll be joined by her cousin, Anaz, and her friends, Mimiey & Dayang. Gosh, the waits is killing me! I haven't seen her in ages! Okay, months. All right, just merely more than a month. Its 46 days exactly. It also means 1104 hours. Or 66240 minutes. Or 3974400 seconds. And the clock keep ticking as you read!
Before I go, I would like to wish everyone Happy Valentine's Day. Especially to UiTM Students that unable to celebrate it with their love ones due to the module held tomorrow. (Is it wrong that I'm glad my course's module is held on Sunday instead of tomorrow? )
P/S : I want a human version of Edward Cullen for myself. I already have my Jacob Black.
