The new music video by Shakira is so hot, I still don't know what the song is about after watching it countless times.

I just love LOVE love the bed sequence.

It's DAMN salty.

This is just brilliant! You HAVE to watch the video!

Nokia N97 vs. Samsung Jet

My birthday had passed. But the birthday present hasn't been decided yet.

I think I'll ask for a new phone. My brother suggested two models: Nokia N97 vs Samsung Jet.

I still can't decide. Both look pretty luring. Check out the Youtube videos of both model of mobile phones below.

Nokia N97

Samsung Jet

So, after seeing the videos, which do you think is better?
I can't decide. And I have to decide before the offer is over.

Emma Watson graces Vogue Russia.

(It's in Russian. So, I have NO idea what they interviewed her.)

P/S: I want to go to Brown this fall and be her roommate.

Love Story

Taylor Swift herself tweeted the link to this video.

The guy, Gabe, did a cover on Taylor Swift's Love Story. However, with a twist. He changed some words of the song so it will be in Romeo's perspective.

This is so sweet. Imagine some guy sings this song for you.

p/s: Yes, Gabe. YES! YES! YES!

The Beautiful Life

I knew there's a reason why I like Cordin more than Zac Efron.
He's branching out from the High School Musical franchise, and looking uber-hot doing it!

The Beautiful Life: TBL focuses on the daily lives of young models living together in a models' residence in New York, while struggling to deal with the cutthroat competition and fleeting fame of the fashion world.

The cast of The CW's 'The Beautiful Life: TBL' posed nude in a series of new advertisements for the upcoming Fall TV show. The show's stars Corbin Bleu, Sara Paxton, Ben Hollingsworth and Ashley Madekwe are covered with nothing more than the 'Beautiful Life' logo in the sexy new black & white ads. However, Mischa Barton who recently has a meltdown is noticeably absent from the ads. Probably too skinny to look hot in nude, anyway. At least she's getting her acts back together.

The new series is produced by Ashton Kutcher. Wow. The former MTV's Punk host is one of the producer. Can you believe it?

I will definitely tune in to this show. Could this be better than Gossip Girl?

Charles Bartholomew "Chuck" Bass

A long, long, long list of Chuck Bass's quotes in Gossip Girl.
My favorite fictional character. I'm sure there's a Chuck Bass somewhere. His character has to be based on someone.

Chuck Bass, Chuck Bass, wherefore art thou Chuck Bass?
He is just too dreamy. The ultimate badboy.
Quotes, pictures & videos after the jump.

Isabel: Someone saw Serena getting off the train at Grand Central!
Chuck: Good. Things are getting a little dull around here.

Chuck: I love freshmen. They're so...
Isabel: Fresh?

Serena: Oh my God, this is so good!
Chuck: Well if you're looking for a way to thank me, I've got a couple ideas...
Serena: It's a sandwich, Chuck.

Chuck: So smoke up and seal the deal with Blair. Because you're also entitled the tap that ass.

Chuck: Let's catch up. Take our clothes off. Stare at each other.

Chuck: if I knew his name, I'd kill him.
Nate: Because you kill people now? What, you gonna hunt him down with your scarf?
Chuck: Don't mock the scarf, Nathaniel. It's my signature.

Chuck: I'm honored to be playing even a small role in your deflowering.

Chuck: Serena, stop trying to pretend you're a good girl. So you slept with your best friend's boyfriend. I kind of admire you for it.

Chuck: (to Nate) The real world. Everyone out there wants to be us.

Chuck: Mysterious financial transactions. Warring parents. Welcome to the Upper East Side.

Jenny: Let's play a game.
Chuck: I'd say strip poker. But I don't have any cards.

Chuck: Little Jenny Humphrey gets my pants off and I still don't manage to enjoy it.

Club employee: Who's that girl?
Chuck: I have no idea.

Chuck: Look... I care about three things, Nathaniel. Money, the pleasures money brings me, and you.

Chuck: (sees Blair coming out of church) Well, this is the last place I'd expect to find you.
Blair: Go away, Chuck! I've been given orders, practically from God himself, to avoid you.
Chuck: Would you consider avoiding me over breakfast?

Blair: From this moment forward, the events of last night will never be mentioned again, is that clear?
Chuck: Not as clear as the memory of you purring in my ear, which I have been replaying over and over...
Blair: Well, erase the tape! Because as far as I'm concerned, it never happened.
Chuck: I'll see you at your party tonight.
Blair: You're officially uninvited.
Chuck: Never stopped me before.

Nate: I know you're there, I can hear you breathing on the other side of the door.
Chuck: [opens door] Nathaniel!
Nate: Where's the girl?
Chuck: In my dreams. I was trying to get some shut eye. What's on your mind?
Nate: Just my mom.
Chuck: Sounds Freudian.

Chuck: Are you ready for your present? [Blair grabs his hair and puts his head over the railing] Ow! If you wanted to play rough, all you had to do was ask.

Nate: I just don't get it. I organized everything the way she likes it. I mean, I even made sure my bow tie matched her dress.
Chuck: Like the book says, "She's just not that into you."

Chuck: You looked hot on Prince Theodore's arm, today.
Blair: Is that what I am to you, just an accessory?
Chuck: Next to him, yes. On me, you'd be so much more.

Chuck (to Serena): How about I turn that one-piece to a no-piece?

Blair: Isn't there someone else you can torture?
Chuck: Probably, but I choose you.

Chuck: You know, if my dad and your mom come back from South Africa tomorrow engaged we'll be brother and sister. And you know what they say, the family that plays together stays together.
Serena: Ah. Incest, the universal taboo. One of the, uh, only ones you haven't violated.
Chuck: I'm game if you are.

Vanessa: You're sick!
Chuck: You're welcome!

Serena: I need to talk to you.
Chuck: About getting knocked up? I must say I was a little disappointed you weren't more careful.

Lily: (to Serena) Don't leave your dirty package on the table.
Chuck: If I had a nickel for every time I heard that.
Bart: That's enough Chuck.

Serena: What are you doing?
Eric: I'm hiding from my valet. He wanted to put my socks on for me this morning. Your servants are very attentive.
Chuck: You should meet Bergita the maid.
Serena: No! No he should not meet Bergita, he's 14. Ignore this person.
Chuck: May I remind you, Serena, that you used to have a sense of humor.

Serena: Okay let's get one thing straight. Our parents might be insisting on blending our households but I am not your sister. I do not share any of your DNA, nor do I ever wish to.
Chuck: Then I suggest you get new hand towels.

Nate: She's right Serena, I mean none of us are saints.
Blair: [points at Chuck] Yeah, I had sex with him in the back of a limo.
Chuck: Several times.
Nate: I had sex with you, at a wedding while I was her date. [looks at Chuck] Once.
Blair: [looks at Chuck]
Chuck: I'm Chuck Bass!

Blair: You were on the floor!
Chuck: I hurt my back.
Blair: How? It's not like you every do anything athletic.
Chuck: Well, that's not entirely true, now is it?
Blair: Fine, nothing that involves removing your scarf.
Chuck: That was one time, it was chilly.

Serena: So where's Georgina?
Chuck: You're out of luck, she just left.
Serena: Where's Dan?
Chuck: I'm out of luck, he's still here.

Dan: Wait, don't you all hate each other?
Blair: Yes.
Nate: Absolutely.
Chuck: No.

Blair: (kicks Chuck's leg) Break a leg.
Chuck: I think I just did.

Blair: Don't worry, I can be a bitch enough for both of us.
Chuck: I still got the scars on my back to prove it.

Chuck: Let's take it slow this time. Do it right.
Blair: Blegh... Chuck Bass is a romantic, who knew?
Chuck: Now you do, and it's all what it matters.

Chuck: You're lying.
Blair: I am not.
Chuck: Your eyes are doing that thing where they don't match your mouth.
Blair: I wasn't aware that robots got jealous. Did they update your software while I was away?

Serena: Who was that?
Chuck: A whiff of the Far East.
Serena: Sometimes I envy you. Wait, what am I saying? You're disgusting.

Dan: You should put a bell on.
Chuck: Kinky. I'll think about it.

Dan: I know... we don't like each other. You think I'm a boring, sheltered nobody.
Chuck: I don't think of you.

Dan: I've come to the conclusion that I need to get out of my comfort zone. To experience some new things.
Chuck: Are you gay?

Dan: How do you know so many twins?
Chuck: Twins find me?

Chuck: Did you have a reason for coming to see me? Because if it was to insult me, there's a website you can go to.

Blair: What took you so long?
Chuck: If you thought that was long, you have no idea what you're in for.

Bart: ... A weekend curfew of 1 am.
Chuck: Is that Eastern or Pacific?

Blair: I've been thinking about changing my signature scent. I've been trying out a new one, I can't decide if I like it. Would you mind?
Chuck: [sniffs Blair] Smells a little like desperation.

Blair: What do we have, Chuck?
Chuck: Tonight. So shut up. And dance with me.

Jack: Chuck, your father wouldn't have wanted this.
Chuck: Dear old Dad? Unfortunately all I know is what he didn't want. Which is me. I'm Chuck Bass!!! ... No one cares.
Blair: I do. Don't you understand? I'll always be here. I don't want you going anywhere. I couldn't bear it. So whatever you want to do to yourself, please don't do it to me. Please.
Chuck: I'm sorry.
Blair: It's okay.

Nate: [on Bart's letter] Aren't you curious what it says?
Chuck: I think I can guess. You're a disappointment of a son; I'd die of embarrassment if I hadn't already; why do you wear so much purple?

Jack: Why would he leave Bass Industries to you, a teenager who can't his pecker in his pants for more than 24 hours.
Chuck: At least I can keep it in service for more than five minutes.

Blair: (reading the letter) Dear Son, I know I've always been hard on you—
Chuck: True.
Blair: —but my goal was always to prepare you for this day. To help you go from being a boy to a man.
Chuck: An Italian au pere took care of that.
Blair: Chuck, please. Sadly, there is nothing like the passing of a father to aid in this rite of passage for his son. Ultimately I do feel that I did my job and you are prepared for this next chapter of your life. Therefore I am bequeathing to you the majority share of Bass Industries.
Chuck: Surely that's a mistake.

Lily: (re: Jack) The bastard is untouchable.
Chuck: What shall we do?
Lily: Time to get dirty. I'm all ears.
Chuck: Let me educate you.

Chuck: (on phone) No I told you, under 18 and I want verification. I don't care where you have to import them from, I want them young and unstable.

Lily: Did you really try to send him anthrax through the mail?
Chuck: The black market's not what it used to be.

Nate: You're not still thinking about that girl are you?
Chuck: Her name is Elle. If you must know, I'm late for my chiropractor. Makes the Kama Sutra feel new again.
Nate: Nice to see you moving on.

Chuck: Yale, the only thing she wanted more than me. That would be painful.
Serena: Chuck, she's embarrassed, so we've gotta give her time to lick her wounds.
Chuck: Maybe I could lick them for her.

Eric: Does this feel like a sitcom to anyone else?
Dan: More like a reality show.
Chuck: Then I can vote you off.

Chuck: [to Nate] Murray Hill? Even your mother is too hip for this zip code.

Chuck: If you needed to mark your territory so badly, Nathaniel, maybe you should just pee on her.

Serena: Chuck, why did you just do that?
Chuck: Because I love her, and I can't make her happy.

Georgina: No thank you, the Lord cannot enter the body solely by alcohol.
Chuck: That's good, because I prefer to be the one doing the entering.
Georgina: To each his own holy water.

Chuck: I was a coward running away again. But everywhere I went, you caught up with me. So I had to come back.
Blair: I want to believe you, but I can't. You've hurt me too many times.
Chuck: Then believe me this time.
Blair: That's it?
Chuck: [pauses] I love you, too. (they kiss)
Blair: Can you say it twice? (laughs) No, I'm serious, say it twice.
Chuck: I love you, I love you, I love you. (kissing)

To clarify things; I have a thing for Chuck Bass, not Ed Westwick. Thou, I do think his casting was appropriate for the role. Unlike Robert Pattison, who managed to ruin my image of Edward Cullen. I should never had watched the movie. Should just be satisfied with the novel version and my imagination.

Chuck Bass vs. Edward Cullen
I'm rooting for Chuck. What about you?

Gossip Girl Season 3

Seriously, who haven't heard of the hit TV series - Gossip Girl? If you're able to online and read my blog, you heard of Gossip Girl. I said heard, not watch.

I'm a fan. D'uh, my favorite fictional character - Chuck Bass, is from Gossip Girl. Again, I'm never fanatic about anything. So, I don't go around dressing up like Blair or Serena (Thou, I'm more of a Serena than Blair). Or worse, acting like one. Hey, I love the internet. But it doesn't rule my life. And I don't go around backstabbing friends to go up in the social ladder. That's another thing I couldn't be bothered in life. Why? Because to do that, takes lots of work, all those makeups, fake smiles, insincerity - hypocracy. Not to mention, one has to be vain to be one. I have more important things in life than to worry about what others think of me.

In addition, I tend to try my best to live up to my own principles. I hate hypocrites - so, I try not to be one. Obviously, we can't run away from making some white lies. But, that's life. Just don't go around being nice and supportive to a friend, then behind her, you bitch and try to seduce her man. I can spot this kind of people from a mile away. And if you are a psychic, you'd know who in my bloglist are the bigger backstabber. I won't name names, but if you're not one, you don't have anything to be offended about.

Oh, back to Gossip Girl. In the main preview, Serena appears to get herself in the middle of a paparazzi scandal, Dan looks to be the king of a college party, and Chuck Bass — unsurprisingly — finds himself tempted to stray from Blair. Also, there's a shirtless scene involving horses, and if anything has ever called for a WTF, it might be that. I think the most intriguing stuff happens in the character videos, where Blair looks sad and out of place at NYU, Dan gets an intriguing new make-out partner, and we get our first look at Joanna Garcia as a new love interest for Nate.

Lonely boy? A College-party King? Gosh, never see that one coming. Guess Blair was right. I can't wait for the new season! I'm going to download it, and watch it over and over -and over- again!

Here's some sneak peek videos! Enjoy!

Megan Fox vs Peer Pressure

For those who doesn't know it yet, I love Megan Fox. I'd go gay for her. Serious! And I don't even know her birthday! Haha. I'm not one of the crazy fanatic fan of hers. I don't really give a damn about her acting career. I just think she's effing hot. (And to those who think she's born a dude, please get me her doctor's number!)

She may be a motormouth, but at least she's honest (and uber-hot! Can't beat that.) And now, she's speaking up to show her support against peer pressure. Check out the video below.

That's actually a promo ad for her upcoming movie, Jennifer's Body, where she's literally a maneater. If only the movie will be allowed for showing in Malaysia, but I doubt it. Guess I have to wait for the pirated DVD to come out in the black market.

I don't know what the movie is about. All I need to know it, Megan Fox is in it, and she eats high school boys. That's enough for me.

Chuck & Blair Never Looked Better.

I just can't find the word to describe it. I want my Charles Bass! Eff Edward Cullen! No one beats Chuck!

Rinie Will Love This!

So, you love Channing Tatum huh? Bet you'll love this too.

Enjoy! *sinister smile*

To avoid any speculation, I do not, DO NOT, surf around the internet and search for explicit videos. We have Perez for that job. Haha.

G.I. Whoa!

Usmagazine.com has obtained a video of Channing Tatum, 29, dancing in a Chippendales-style revue called Male Encounter in 1999.

Then 18, the star -- who performed under the alias "Chan Crawford" -- approached the troupe's owner London Steele at a now-defunct Florida nightclub about a job.

"He was shy at first, but he really knew how to work the stage," Steele tells Us, adding that Tatum lip-synched in the act and earned $50 a night (plus tips) during his year-long stint.

"The women went crazy for him!" Steele added.

Unfortunately for them, the revue had a strict no-nudity policy.

Nevertheless, the actor --- who wed his Step Up costar Jenna Dewan on July 11 -- was so impressive he caught the eye of a female casting agent who put him in Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" music video.

Twilight Quotes

Ever since introduced to Twilight, I have been a huge fan of it. I owe it all to Viv, who suggested it to Intan (who then forced me to buy the book for her). They say it was like another Harry Potter-esque series, instead of potions and spells, its mythical creatures.

To be honest, I wasn't even remotely interested. Never thought its an epic love story. After all, Harry Potter is not a romance story! J. K. Rowling only added romance in the series in the last 3 books. (Yes, I read the Harry Potter series too.) But Viv was like "You HAVE to read Twilight! It's AWESOME!" and went on and on with it. So, I decided to entertain her wishes and look for it in bookstores. Note the 's' behind 'bookstore'. Yes, for weeks I went to many bookstores in Kota Kinabalu & Kuala Lumpur. They're always out of stock. At that point, I was curious and convinced that the book was indeed as Viv said.

Once I get my hands on one of the book, I was hooked. I even bought hamsters and named them after Edward and Bella. (Unfortunately, they died due to their forbidden love) I couldn't get enough of it. I searched for the sequel. Unable to find them in stores, I downloaded them. Illegal, I know. But so what?

There are many quotes from the books that I truly love. Here's some in random order.

Your scent, it's like a drug to me.
You are my exact brand of heroin.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.
What a stupid lamb.
What a sick masochistic lion.
-Edward Cullen, Bella Swan in Twilight

If I could dream at all, it will be about you. And I'm not ashamed of it.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

Besides, friends don't let friends drive drunk.
Drunk?
You're intoxicated by my very presence.
-Edward Cullen, Bella Swan in Twilight

Today is the first & last day of forever.
-Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn’t know how potent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
-Bella Swan in Twilight

No spiders?
Nope.
No radioactivity?
Nope.
Dang.
Kryptonite doesn't bother me either.
-Bella Swan, Edward Cullen in Twilight

Sleep, my Bella. Dreams happy dreams. You are the only one who ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love.
-Edward Cullen in Eclipse

I hear voices in my head, and you're worried that you're the freak.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

It's too easy to be myself with you.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason. ….And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.
-Edward Cullen in New Moon

To me, it was like you were some kind of demon, summoned straight from my own personal hell to ruin me.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

I’ll miss you. No matter how short a time you’re gone.
-Alice Cullen in Midnight Sun

High school. Or was purgatory the right word?
-Edward Cullen in Midnight Sun

I am Switzerland. I refuse to be affected by territorial disputes between mythical creatures.
-Bella Swan in Eclipse

I have been tortured. Alice painted my toenails.
-Bella Swan in Eclipse

I told you — you don’t see yourself clearly at all. You’re not like anyone I’ve ever known. You fascinate me.
-Edward Cullen in Twilight

Maybe…if you weren’t a disgusting vampire who was planning to suck out the life of the girl I love…well, no,not even then.
-Jacob Black in Breaking Dawn

Fall down again, Bella?
No, Emmett. I punched a werewolf in the face.
-Emmet Cullen, Bella Swan in Eclipse

You did it again.
What?
Dazzling me.
Oh.
It's not your fault. You can't help it.
-Bella Swan, Edward Cullen in Twilight

I know it will be hard, but this is what I want. I want you, and I want you forever. One lifetime is simply not enough for me.
-Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn

I told you --
Did you know 'I Told You So' have a brother, Jacob? His name is 'Shut The Hell Up'!
-Jacob Black, Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn

I could see that now - how the universe swirled around this one point. I'd never seen the symmetry of the universe before, but now it was plain. The gravity of the earth no longer tied me to the place I stood. It was the baby girl in the blonde vampire's arms that held me here now. Renesmee.
-Jacob Black in Breaking Dawn

He's like a drug for you, Bella. I see that you can't live without him now. But I would have been healthier for you. Not a drug; I would have been the air, the sun.
-Jacob Black in Eclipse

If there were any way for me to become human for you - no matter what the price was, I would pay.
-Edward Cullen in Eclipse

My heart hasn't beat in almost ninety years, but this was different. It was like my heart was gone, like I was hollow. Like I'd left everything that was inside me here with you.
That's funny.
Funny?
I thought it was just me. Lots of pieces of me went missing, too. I haven't been able to really breathe in so long. Any my heart. That was definitely lost.
-Edward Cullen, Bella Swan in New Moon

Do you think I'll get better at this? That my heart someday stop trying to jump out of my chest whenever you touch me?
-Bella Swan in New Moon

Wow. That's a long list. And that's not everything. There's still many more quotes from the books that I truly love. Did you notice that most of the quotes are from Edward Cullen? Well, I'm a girl, he's Edward, connect the dots. When I read the books, I always imagine myself in Bella's shoes. My heart melts whenever I read the words that Edward says to Bella.

I wonder if I will ever find my own human-version of Edward Cullen. If he's turn out to be a vampire, I don't mind.

Disney's 'Year of A Million Dreams'

Have you ever seen Disney's 2007 "Year of A Million Dreams" ad campaign?

I know it's an old news, but it is the best ad campaign I have ever seen. Annie Leibovitz did a wonderful job capturing the magic that Disney have produced all these years. I love these photos so much that I couldn't resist sharing them with all of you.

Julianne Moore is Ariel in this picture called Fantasea, which Michael Phelps as a Mereman. I love the tagline - "Where Another World Is Just A Wish Away".
David Bechkam is Prince Phillips from ''The Sleeping Beauty'' in the picture named "Where Imagination Saves The Day". Don't you think the character suit him a little too well? He's always the masculine hero.
King of Tennis, Roger Federer, traded his court for the role of King Arthur from "The Sword in the Stone" in this picture - "Where You're Always King of the Court"
Beyonce is Alice of "Alice in the Wonderland" in this picture named "Where Wonderland is Your Destiny" with Oliver Platt as the Mad Hatter and Lyle Lovett as the March Hare in a teacup.
In the picture named "Where You Never Have To Grow Up", Gisele Bundchen is Wendy Darling with dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov as Peter Pan and Tina Fey as Tinker Bell.
Jessica Biel is Pocahontas in this picture named "Where Dreams Run Free".
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are Princess Jasmine and Alladin in the picture "Where A New World Awaits".
Rachel Weisz is Snow White in "Where You're The Fairest Of Them All"
Julie Andrews is the Blue Fairy from "Pinocchio" with starlet Abigail Breslin as the fairy-in-training in the picture - "Where the Magic Begins"
In "Where Every Cinderella Story Comes True", Scarlett Johansson is Cinderella. And like every Cinderella, she's wearing nothing but the best - a unique Harry Winston tiara in platinum and over 62k diamonds ($325,000) and Nicoletta Santoro custom made fairytale inspired gown.
In this picture -"Where Your Every Wish is Our Command", Whoopi Goldberg is the Genie from "Alladin".

Aren't the pictures are just amazing?

Disney always find a way to make us believe and not lose faith in the magic.

And do you know anyone that didn't grow up listening to Disney's fairytales, anyway? I'm a fan, forever and always. I will forever keep my hope that my fairy tale will come true.

Eclectic BFF in 1 Borneo

It's been a while since I last got together with my best friends, Feera & Soneea. So, today, we finally able to meet up with each other. The only one missing in the equation is Eja, of course. She's still in her campus in UNITEN, Selangor. She was so devastated when we sent her our pictures we took together today.

We have been out all day. I went to pick Feera up from her place in Petagas, before meeting up with Soneea in Star City around 1 in the afternoon. Gosh, I didn't even realize that I missed them so much. The Bollywood-drama-magnet Soneea Ezza. The punk-rock commitment-phobe Nurafeera.
Since there's nothing interesting in Star City, we can't think of any place else worth for our time wasting activities in Kota Kinabalu, apart from 1 Borneo. Well, we'd go elsewhere if the other choices have less illegal immigrants messing around. I have nothing against Pilaks. But if only they are able to behave themselves, I don't mind at all being around them. You know what's worst? I can't even differentiate Pilaks youngsters with Sabahan youngsters. Not just that they dress like those Pilaks, they even behave the same ways. Gosh, choose a better role models please!
Anyway, we had lunch in the food court, because we can't make up our mind where we want to eat. Then we went into almost every shop in the mall and have our own fun. Mostly, I tried to push Feera into more girly attire. We were literally ignoring all the people around us, and just do (and say) everything that crosses our minds. Three crazy girls on the loose.

I forgot to mention the events that were held in 1 Borneo today. There's an audition for "Pilih Kasih" reality show and "Bang! Bang! Boom!". "Pilih Kasih" is a Rosyam Nor's audition for wannabe actors and actresses. While "Bang! Bang! Boom!" is a Malaysian version of UK's "Just For Gags!", it's a prank show or something like that.

Soon, our legs gone weary of walking around the mall, twice! So, we decided to find a spot where we can hang out. Our version of "hang out" includes: beverages and great view. As girls, the view we all loves are, of course, the endangered species in Sabah. If you're thinking Orangutan or Bayau, I just want to say, Animals in a shopping mall? Seriously? If you're unaware, hot guys are listed as endangered species in Sabah. Or at least in our list. Ha-ha. We hung out at Dome. Not at its lot near FCUK. But in the North Atrium near the main entrance of the building. Where we can have a great view of the "Pilih Kasih" audition.

There was no hot guys (as expected, its near extinction), but it was hilarious. Bunch of inexperiences thick accent Sabahan trying their lucks. Thou, you have to give them credits for their guts. I won't have the nerve to do it. People are watching from every floor! And laughing at every go. I know, I'm one of them. Gosh, I thought there will only be youngsters trying their lucks, but there's adults too. Adults as in beliau-beliau, in the age range of 35 years and above.

Oh, Sabah may be running out of good-looking males. But the other parts of the world don't. While we were sitting down at Dome's, enjoying the show, a macho looking guy with Peninsular Malaysia's slang, who has been standing behind Feera to check out what's the commotion about, asked us what's going on. Yes, I have an awesome B.Y. Radar, I noticed him from the corner of my eyes. Of course, we answered him and and small chats a little before he joined the rest of his family. And obviously, us girls talked about him soon after he left. We thought we'd seen the last of him, but we were wrong. Around half an hour later, (yes, we sat there for nearly an hour) he's back, and he wasn't alone. He was with another drool-worthy guy, whom I assume is his brother. Gosh, I wished I made an effort to dress up a little. As usual, Soneea and I joked which will get which. Feera don't get to choose, because she's always in a relationship.

After a while, well, an hour to be exact, the show gone a bit gloomy. The hot guys already left. So, we left too. When we walked around, again, we realized, we should have invited those guys. Showing them around town, as excuse. Ha-ha. They may not be Sabahan, but they are the only hot guys we've seen the whole day. Imagine that. And we were in 1 Borneo. Pathetic. It's sad to be girls in this part of the world. And what's more pathetic is, we walked around the mall once more, in hope of running into the macho siblings. It's all in vain, I guess they went back to their hotel. And we're not that desperate nor pathetic enough to look for them there. Ha-ha.

So, knowing that we won't be able to decide where to go if we left the building, we decided to watch a movie. Whatever movie showing next at the moment. "Bohsia: Jangan Pilih Jalan Hitam". For a Malaysian movie, it's a great one. You must go and see it. I certainly hope the female casts' parents or family members won't go and see this movie. They acted their part really well. And there are some scene that they should not see it. I would write my own review further more on this movie if it wasn't 1 o'clock in the morning.

After the movie, I sent them both home, before I pick my parents up at the airport. I love being home alone. Wonder when my parents going to be away again?

Nice Guys Finish Last

I set Yahoo! as my homepage. Thus, whenever I online, I get to see what new around the world, or whatever interesting fact or topic featured for the day. Last night, there's a very intriguing one, it's about why good guys are not our (girls') first choice in finding a partner.

Why is it that good guys always lose to jackasses? Haven't us girls learn that these cocky guys can't be trusted and bound to hurt us in the end? Why they keep getting the girls? Why is it the main male characters in movies & TV shows are naughty, rebel, rule-breakers? Can you name a movie where the leading male character is a total square person? Even Jim Carrey's character in "Yes Man" became a rebel in the end.

I, myself, are just like one of the girls. My favorite male fictional characters are Edward Cullen from "Twilight" and Chuck Bass from "Gossip Girl". As you may know, they're the two dangerous guys in their own story. Edward is a vampire, while Chuck is.. Chuck Bass. I'm positively sure that I'm not the only one in love with these two characters. Heck! They have their own fan clubs all around the world. I want to mention a good guy character, and ask if he has his own fan club. But I can't seem to think of one.

I always use the reason "he's too nice" on guys. From the article, there's a few possibilities that a guy can be too nice:

#1 - He's so nice. He can only be friends.
A good friend is hard to fine. It is true that us girls want to be friend before we take it to another level. Sometimes after a while of dating, it turns to awkward phase, because you started off friends. You're bound to meet him everywhere, since you have the same social circle & all. Maybe you'll be able to recover and remain buddies. But is it worth the risks?

#2 - He's so nice. He's not challenging enough.
Just like some guys, girls love the thrill of the chase. Sometimes a little too much. We love to wonder, the element of surprise, the excitement of not knowing. "He likes me; He likes me not". The game is not a one player-game; its two-player. Just like the guys, we do like that we've won someone over, instead of him give himself to us. Things that are easily acquired, obtained, or maintained, without any effort or sacrifices, lack values. That's just human nature.

#3 - He's so nice. He'll always be there.
Yeah, we do take things for granted sometimes. They're always available, they'll do anything you ask them to. By doing so, they made themselves appear needy, desperate and insecure. Without realising it, they've stripped themselves of any value in our eyes. Being too eager to please, girls will conclude them as being the jealous and controlling type. We won't value them as much as they value themselves. We'll still look for someone more worthy, more confident, more valuable. We enjoys keeping them as friends, because in the back of our minds, we know we'll be able to turn them later. They're great as rebound.

#4 - He's TOO nice. You can't trust him.
Ha-ha. This is true sometimes. If you are just too nice, too perfect, it'll make girls suspicious. You see it in movies all the time. The guy comes into the girl's life, he's everything she wants, just absolutely perfect. Then he slowly turns into a psycho freak. We believe that everyone has a dark secret. Nobody's perfect. And you come to our life, perfect as ever, obviously we'll be snooping around for your skeletons in your shiny white polished closet.

The Twilight Saga

Yes! I finally finished reading all four of them. All FOUR! I read the first one, "Twilight", a while back. When Viv insisted Intan to buy and read it, and Intan of course told me to buy and read it instead, so I can tell her everything about it later. I was looking for another author to read anyway, since I've read all works by Cecelia Ahern, Dorothy Kroomson and Sophie Kinsella. Viv was so insistant, I believe that it's good. Well, after reading "Twilight", I'm in love with the protagonist, Edward Cullen. (I'm very much aware that the actual protagonist is Bella Swan, but she's lame.)

Not longer after I've read "Twilight", the movie version of it finally showing in cinema. Since I couldn't explain it well to Intan, we went to see the movie. Intan, of course, was in love with Edward Cullen as well. We even called Viv as soon as we stepped out of the cinema to tell her how much we love the story. (And Edward. We even childishly argued who deserved Edward more between the three of us.) For those who haven't read the novel version of the story, like the movie very much. For those who have read it, is very much disappointed with it. There's a lot of changes been made. A lot of scenes been cut. Scenes that let us know that Edward is a mindreader and Bella is an accident prone. Alice can see the future. Scenes where Edward and Bella having dinner (or at least, Bella is) after Edward saved her. Disappointed that the casting crew didn't able to find a more beautiful guy to play the role Edward. Not that George Pattison is not handsome, from the description in the book, Edward Cullen is supposed to be much more beautiful.

Afterward, I've been trying to find the sequels to this book in all major bookstores. "New Moon", "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn". But they're always out of stock. I can't blame them. Since the movie's came out, the series became more and more popular. I didn't give up thou. And Viv found an early draft of Edward version of "Twilight" leaked online. "Twilight" is written from Bella's perspective. "Midnight Sun" is written from Edward's perspective. It's a draft, so it is not done. It is much more exciting than "Twilight" because Edward's a mindreader, so there's more insight on the other characters in this story. Such as Jessica is actually a hypocrite, Angela is nothing but pure kindness, Mike Newton is obsessed with Bella. Etc. Etc. Viv warned me before she gave me the copy of "Midnight Sun", that it is not complete, and I will be disappointed. Well, it's more like frustrated actually, not able to read the end of it. Viv said that Stephenie Meyer refused to continue writing it, because it has leaked. Well, at least I know the truth about some characters.

In the "New Moon", there's less of Edward in it. Instead, there's more of Jacob Black. (I'm arguing in my head whether or not to tell you about this book. And I decided that you should read it by yourself to find out.) And in the next series, Jacob Black seems to be head to head with Edward Cullen. Jacob Black has finally believe the myth about vampires and werewolves. And there's more vampires in the next series. Much more vampires. Multiple covens. There's even a vampire version of royal family. Stephenie Meyer has a wild imagination.

Obviously, Bella is an accident prone, so we can always trust her to mess things up. Edward's seem to thing she's jinxed, too. Because no matter how hard he tries to save and make things better for Bella, there's always trouble waiting ahead. As the only human, (excluding their schoolmates) Bella is the one who can't make any decision. She can't choose between Edward and Jacob. Well, she chose Edward, and Jacob is making it difficult. But she didn't really let Jacob go. Opps. I'm revealing the story line already. Better stop it.

Anyway, I didn't get to buy the other books. Seeing its always out of stock. So, I've downloaded them. Yes, I know, illegal. But what else can I do? I can't find them on shelves anywhere! I can be very attached to something I read. Once I started reading, I can't seem to have the will to put the book down. Or in this case, my laptop off. So, it took me less than a week to finish reading all three titles. Yes, less than a week. (I know Adib think I'm crazy.) How could you not? It's so exciting, and I couldn't bear the anxiety and anticipation. So, I continue reading as long as I can. Luckily I'm too lazy to bring my laptop everywhere, and I couldn't possibly use them in class. If not, I'll bet I can finish reading them in 3 days. A title a day.

So, all of you who haven't read the Twilight Saga yet, you've missed out a lot. Go grab the book now! (Including you, Adib)
